Barbara came to Nantucket from the Boston area, where she was a French teacher. She has lived on the island for more than 30 years, raising three daughters and taking an active part in community affairs. She has served on the boards of the Chamber of Commerce and the Teen Center, and is currently the secretary of the Pine Valley Neighborhood Association.
Barbara is an experienced and committed realtor, using her knowledge of the island and the real estate market to match clients with their ideal properties, whether they are buying or renting. When listing property, she draws on her experience together with her knowledge and expertise of Maury People Sothebys International Realty, to get the best price for the seller in the shortest period of time. When not working, Barbara enjoys the beach, gardening, reading, playing duplicate bridge, dinner parties with friends and walking with her iPod. She is also an avid Red Sox fan and rarely misses watching a game- Go Sox!
